Silk screens

Silk printing, also known as stencil printing, involves transferring paint using silk yarn nets. Its origins date back to ancient China during the Song Dynasty (960 – 1279 BC) and have since spread throughout Asia. It reached Western Europe in the late 18th century and was further developed by Samuel Simon in England in 1907. AntiqueBrokers antiques center offers a selection of antique silk-screen prints by renowned artists, featuring vibrant colors and often accompanied by historic ornate frames.
